Diploma Remedial Massage

Tia is passionate about helping people reconnect with their bodies and realise that pain doesn't have to be a necessary part of their life. Having a good understanding of the biomechanics of the body and how the body functions, Tia can help clients move with ease without pain.  Being an athlete, Tia understands the demands sport puts on the body and therefore focuses on the identifying the origin of the issues and injuries rather than just treating symptoms. Tia approaches care holistically with all her clients rather than just their presenting symptoms.

Having competed in four half marathons, three marathons (including the New York Marathon), seven half ironmans, three Ironman triathlons and two long distance swim/run events, Tia naturally has a keen focus on athletes, in particular runners and triathletes, but loves helping people in all areas and stages of life. Furthermore, being a former Nurse with a Masters in Natural Health, Tia has an in depth knowledge that combines well to improve the assessment and treatment of her clients.

When not providing massage to her clients or training for a triathlon, Tia is also a mother to her two children and thus understands the changes a pregnant body goes through and knows the benefits pregnancy massage.
