A New Home for Family-Centred Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology in West Leederville

Every great journey begins with a simple idea.

For husband and wife team Matt and Hayley Huxtable, that idea was to create an allied health clinic where families feel genuinely supported, children are celebrated for their unique strengths, and therapists have the time and freedom to provide the quality of care every child deserves.

Today, we’re incredibly excited to welcome you to iThrive Health, our new Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology clinic in the heart of West Leederville.‍

Why We Created iThrive Health‍

Throughout our careers, we’ve had the privilege of working alongside hundreds of children and families.

We’ve seen firsthand the incredible impact that compassionate, evidence-based therapy can have on a child’s confidence, independence and participation in everyday life. We’ve also seen how overwhelming the journey can feel for parents trying to navigate assessments, diagnoses, school challenges and therapy options.

Too often, families feel like they’re moving from one appointment to the next without truly feeling supported.

We wanted to create something different.

Our vision for iThrive Health has always been simple:

To build a clinic where families feel heard, children feel valued, and therapists have the opportunity to deliver truly personalised care.

Our purpose-built therapy rooms have been designed to encourage play, exploration and learning because children achieve their best when they feel safe, engaged and supported.

Our West Leederville location has been chosen to make therapy accessible for families from across Perth.

Whether families visit us from the western suburbs, northern suburbs, inner city or beyond, our goal is to provide a central location where high-quality paediatric therapy is available in a caring and supportive environment.
