You can now register your interest for our Pre-Primary Readiness programs at iThrive OT! Group therapy is a fun and engaging approach to therapy switching up from the normal one-on-one style of therapy conducted during school term and are enjoyed by many of our clients every school holiday season.
It's also a great opportunity to welcome our school-based families from Bold Park Primary and St. Benedicts School into our beautiful clinic in West Leederville!
What does group therapy focus on?
Each group will be Pre-Primary age appropriate and will take a fun and inclusive approach to the following areas of therapy:

Fine motor skills (letter recognition, shape recognition, cutting skills, hand-eye coordination)

Gross motor skills (ball skills, upper arm strength, target accuracy)
-
Social Skills (turn-taking, effective communication skills)
What are the benefits of Group Therapy?
There are numerous benefits to group therapy in an Occupational Therapy setting. Besides the obvious fun factor group therapy brings, some of the main benefits to this style of therapy include:

Fees and Rebates
Private paying: $100/child per 1hr group
NDIS: Price is calculated for a 1hr time block of therapy
Rebates
Rebates are available with private health insurance (Code: H300), medicare and NDIS for eligible participants.
Proposed Dates
The following dates and times are proposed over both weeks of the holidays:

Dates may change or additional dates may be added depending on demand. Please let us know if you have a preference for another day/time, and we will do our best to accomodate.
Who's invited?
ALL our OT children who are transitioning into pre-primary are welcome to join us including former, current and those about to commence therapy! We encourage you to enroll for this fun and effective approach to therapy. Spots are limited to 6 per group so please be quick to secure your spot today!

You may come to as many is you wish! Activities will differ between each group.
From here we will gauge the level of interest from each age group, the dates preferred, and confirm with you as soon as possible. We will do our absolute best to get you your desired days!
